8th June 2017
Windsurfing: Ynyslas
Wind Direction: SW
Wind Stength: 20-30mph
Surf / Sea State: Wavey
Air Temperature: 15
Sea Temperature: 13
Weather: Showery
Max Speed:
Distance Covered:

Was only 18 - 20 mph when I rigged so I went for the big board and sail. The wind picked up as a shower went through and it got a bit much so I changed to the smaller board and added some downhaul. It was much better with enough power to get out through the waves and more manageable coming back in with the waves. Fabulous green sea when the sun came out after a shower. The wind was rather up and down and during a lull I fell in and the shorebreak put a hole in the sail.

At times 5.5 would have been enough so I was tempted to rig up again but wasn't sure if it would be enough. So instead I went for a swim in the surf. It was bracing without a wetsuit :)
